TAMPA, Fla. (September 7, 2025) – Three different players scored a goal for the University of South Florida women's soccer team on Sunday against Stetson.
Gentiana Fetaj,
Emily Lemke, and
Linnea Nestor each recorded a goal as the Bulls (3-4) defeated the Hatters (3-4) 3-0 inside Corbett Stadium.
Fetaj scored the first goal of the match in the 36th minute. After receiving a pass into the box, she dribbled around a defender and beat the keeper to the far post. South Florida took a 1-0 lead into the break.
In the 75th minute,
Caroline Pelkofski sent a well-placed through ball towards the Stetson box. Nestor ripped a shot from outside the box into the far post, upper 90, to give the Bulls a 2-0 lead.
A minute later,
Yui Suetsugu played a beautiful ball towards the box for a sprinting Lemke. Lemke beat her defender and slid to get a touch on the pass before the keeper could collect it. While sliding, she chipped the ball over the keeper, extending the USF lead to 3-0.
Leire Herraez Gallach got the start in goal for the Bulls. In the 45 minutes in goal, she made two saves and picked up the decision.
Gaby Rourke played the second half and made two saves. The two combined for a clean sheet.

Brown spent 17 years as associate head coach (2007–2023), helping USF to three American Athletic Conference titles, eight NCAA appearances, and a 10-year streak of 10+ win seasons. He coached USF's first All-American, Evelyne Viens, now a Hall of Famer and Olympic gold medalist, and has developed multiple American Athletic Conference award winners. Players under his guidance hold most of the program's records.
