USF Women’s Tennis Tested by In-State Opponents

January 19, 2026

Box Score 1 USF Women's Tennis wrapped up a competitive Power 4 weekend, showing fight and momentum against Florida State and UCF.
On Saturday, the Bulls went toe-to-toe with Florida State, picking up key wins and pushing multiple matches deep. USF claimed a doubles point behind a dominant 6–2 performance from Amelie Drukerova and Charlotte Ruud, setting the tone early. In singles, Francesca Miglio delivered a statement win, taking down FSU's Tina Li in straight sets, while Melisa Senli pushed No. 44 Millie Bissett to a deciding super tiebreak in a tightly contested battle at the top of the lineup.
The Bulls carried that same energy into Sunday's matchup with UCF, battling through close sets and long points throughout the lineup. USF stayed within striking distance across multiple courts, continuing to show growth and resilience against another Power 4 opponent.
With strong individual performances and valuable experience against elite competition, the Bulls continue to build confidence as the spring season rolls on.
