Wilhelm Ryding finishes 2nd and leads the Bulls to a 4th place finish

Ryding’s Runner-Up Finish Powers Bulls to Top-Four Result

Gainesville, FL February 15, 2026 – USF Men's Golf turned in a strong performance at the Gators Invitational, finishing fourth as a team in a competitive field.

The Bulls responded well after the opening round and stayed in contention throughout the event against several nationally recognized programs.

Individually, Wilhelm Ryding led the way with a 2nd place finish, delivering one of the top performances of the tournament.

Jackson Spybey added a top-20 finish and closed the event with momentum, while the lineup saw contributions across the board from Gunnar Green, Joshua Stewart, and Roman Solomon.

Overall, it was a balanced team effort and a strong showing for the Bulls, highlighted by an elite individual finish and steady play throughout the lineup.

The Bulls will continue the action March 7-9th at the Hayt Invitational, hosted at Sawgrass Country Club in Pointe Vedra Beach, Fla.

About USF Men's Golf

The USF men's golf program has captured 19 conference titles and has seen players earn 19 All-America honors. The Bulls have won six American Athletic Conference Tournament championships in wire-to-wire fashion, winning four consecutive from 2015-18. The Bulls have had six individual conference champions, including Jake Peacock in both 2024 and 2025. They went to nine straight NCAA Regional appearances from 2013-2022, including a 6th place finish in NCAA Championship match-play in 2015. USF is led by Steve Bradley, who has been named American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year five times since taking over the program in 2014. The Bulls have posted 25 tournament wins under Bradley including three in the 2023-24 season, by far the most under any coach in program history.
