USF Women's Tennis Set to Host Stetson on Wednesday

February 09, 2026

TAMPA, Fla., February 9, 2026 — South Florida women's tennis returns to the USF Championship Courts on Wednesday to face Stetson, looking to bounce back after a challenging debut weekend. The Bulls fell in both of their opening matches but showed flashes of promise they can carry into Wednesday's action.

In doubles, Falster and Ruud delivered a strong performance against UNF, while Leeson and Marcon also earned a key win, helping the team remain competitive in doubles play. Freshman Drukerova impressed in singles, taking both of her matches and demonstrating the depth and potential of the USF lineup.

USF enters the matchup with a dominant all-time record against Stetson, holding a 12-1 mark, including an 8-0 record at home. After falling to the Hatters last year, the Bulls are eager to reclaim that advantage on the Championship Courts and set the tone early in the season. As they prepare for Wednesday, USF will look to build on those performances and translate them into wins, leveraging the home-court advantage.

Match action is set for Wednesday, February 11 at 2pm., on the USF Championship Courts.
