USF Men’s Golf Completes Day One of the NCAA Regionals

South Florida sits seven strokes back of a qualifying spot at the NCAA Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio (May 18, 2026) – The South Florida men's golf team sits seven strokes back of a qualifying spot at the NCAA Championship after the opening round of the NCAA Regionals on Monday at The OSU Golf Club – Scarlet Course.
 
The top five teams at each NCAA Regional will advance to the NCAA Championship. The Bulls are tied for 11th place (+16) with 36 holes remaining.
 
Hugo Trommetter is tied for 11th place after carding a 1-over 72.
 
Wilhelm Ryding is tied for 42nd place (+4), and Joshua Stewart (+5) is tied for 55th.
 
Roman Solomon recorded his third eagle of the season on the 12th hole. Solomon and Jackson Spybey are tied for 61st place at 6-over 77.
 
Up Next
The Bulls will tee off in the second round at 8:55 a.m. tomorrow alongside Long Beach State and Oregon. The NCAA Regionals are streamed live on Babygrande Golf, and live stats are available on Clippd.

About USF Men's Golf
The USF men's golf program has captured 19 conference titles and has seen players earn 19 All-America honors. The Bulls have won six American Athletic Conference Tournament championships in wire-to-wire fashion, winning four consecutive from 2015-18. The Bulls have had six individual conference champions, including Jake Peacock in both 2024 and 2025. They went to nine straight NCAA Regional appearances from 2013-2022, including a 6th place finish in NCAA Championship match-play in 2015. USF is led by Steve Bradley, who has been named American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year five times since taking over the program in 2014. The Bulls have posted 25 tournament wins under Bradley including three in the 2023-24 season, by far the most under any coach in program history.
