South Florida Cross Country Continues Season at FSU Pre-Regional

Delaney Stephens and Malia Hambrick lead Bulls with top-15 finishes in womenโs 6K
TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Sept. 18 โ South Florida cross country continued its 2026 season Friday morning at the FSU Pre-Regional at Apalachee Regional Park.
Senior Delaney Stephens led the Bulls with a 12th-place finish, crossing the line in 21:40.6. Freshman Malia Hambrick followed just 10 seconds later, placing 14th in 21:50.5.
The pair continued a strong start to the season after finishing back-to-back at the Florida Intercollegiate XC Invitational on Sept. 4. Hambrick led South Florida in the season-opening 5K, with Stephens finishing just behind her.
On the men's side, junior Danny Raymond led the Bulls in the 8K with a time of 25:27.4, finishing 28th overall. Junior Rafael Rodriguez followed in 37th at 25:40.4.
