MIAMI CENTRAL HS: Played for Roland Smith at Miami Central High School…named a Florida All-State Class 6A honorable mention...Miami Herald named him one of the top five area players at his position for 2016…caught 19 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns as a senior…totaled 46 catches for 783 yards and 10 touchdowns his last three seasons…as a junior, posted 24 receptions for 451 yards and seven touchdowns.
PERSONAL: The younger brother of former Florida State receiver Da’Vante Phillips…was teammates with former Bull Darnell Salomon at Miami Central High...selected to the 2017-18 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team...named to the 2018 USF Athletics Spring Honor Roll...majoring in communication...was a 2020 spring graduate.
