2019: Played in 12 games and started his first game at linebacker vs. SMU (9/28)…recorded a season-high seven tackles vs. SMU (9/28)…finished the season with 20 tackles…recorded a forced fumble at UConn (10/5).
DELAND/MAINLAND HIGH SCHOOL: Transferred to DeLand for his senior season…in his first game for DeLand as a senior, rushed 15 times for 156 yards and scored on a 63-yard run early in the first quarter in a 30-20 win over Mainland…helped guide DeLand to an 8-2 regular season record while rushing for 910 yards and seven TDs on top of totaling 13 tackles (10 solo), 7.0 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks and a fumble recovery…DeLand made the first round of the playoffs after winning just two games in 2017…as a junior, helped lead Mainland to a District 6A-13 title and a trip to the second round of the state playoffs and earned Daytona Beach News-Journal all-area honorable mention recognition.
PERSONAL: Born September 17, 1999 in DeLand, Fla….has four brothers and three sisters…his cousin, Johnny Patrick, played football at Louisville and was a cornerback for the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Chargers…enjoys playing video games…majoring in communication.
