2016: Bounced back from a fall camp injury to start the final 10 games of the regular season and played in all 13 games… ranked third on the team with 68 total tackles… tied for second on the team with 51 solo tackles…led the team with five pass breakups…led the team in tackles in four games: East Carolina (10), Temple (7), Navy (9) and Memphis (10)…recovered a fumble and made two tackles in the season-opening win over Towson (9/3)…posted an interception and broke up two passes on senior day in a win over UCF (11/26)…appeared in every game for the Bulls the past four seasons (39 starts second among active players)…ranks 12th on USF’s career chart with 252 tackles.

2015: Appeared in 13 games, starting the last 10…third on the team with 63 tackles on the season, 46 solo…recorded one tackle for loss and three pass break ups…recorded 10 tackles (7 solo) in a loss to Navy (10/31)…recorded nine tackles in a loss to Florida State (9/12)...had eight tackles in a win at UConn (10/17)...recorded at least two tackles in every game on the season...have five stops in the Miami Beach Bowl (12/21).

2014: Godwin started nine games and played in all 12 on the season at safety…finished third on the team with 72 tackles (53 solo) and added 1.0 tackle for loss, two pass break-ups and one recovered fumble…had a season-high 14 tackles and recovered a fumble to lead USF at No. 19 Wisconsin (9/27)…posted nine tackles at Cincinnati (10/24)…had eight stops vs. No. 19 ECU (10/11)…had eight tackles vs. N.C. State (9/13)…posted four or more tackles in 10 games…had six tackles in the Bulls win at Tulsa (10/18)…lettered.

2013: Godwin appeared in 12 games and started the final nine games of the season at safety in his true freshman campaign...ranked fourth on the team with 49 tackles and added one tackle for loss, one interception, and three pass break-ups...had at least two tackles in every game...posted four tackles in his college debut vs. McNeese State (8/31)...returned a blocked field goal 75 yards for a touchdown in a win vs. Cincinnati (10/5)...made his first career start vs. No. 15 Miami (9/28) and posted four tackles...led the team with six tackles and added an interception at No. 17 UCF (11/29)...had five tackles and two pass break-ups in a win at UConn (10/12)...had five tackles vs. No. 18 Louisville (10/26)...posted a career high nine in tackles in the season finale at Rutgers (12/7)...earned the Freshman of the Year Award at the annual USF banquet.
