McCants finished his USF career fourth all-time on the career charts with 127 receptions, third on the receiving yardage charts with 1,856 yards and tied for second with 16 career touchdown receptions...his 59 receptions in the 2018 season rank as the third-best season in program records....he played in 51 career games and made 32 starts at wide receiver...finished his career as USF's career bowl game leader in receptions (14), receiving yards (213) and touchdowns (2), appearing in four bowl games...threw a touchdown pass in the Gasparilla Bowl (2018).

2018: Started all 13 games and led the USF receiving corps with 59 catches, the third-most on a season in USF history... second on the team with 622 receiving yards, good for 10th-best in a season at USF…ranked sixth in The American with 4.5 receptions per game…finished his career tied for second all-time at USF with 16 career receiving touchdowns, posting three in 2018…ranks fourth all-time at USF with 127 career receptions…led the team in receptions in six games…threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to Randall St. Felix in the Gasparilla Bowl vs. Marshall (12/20)...hauled in a career-high 10 receptions (tied for fourth-best game mark at USF) and registered 104 yards receiving in a win over Georgia Tech (9/8)…caught a career-long 72-yard touchdown pass in a victory at UMass (10/6)…had eight catches for 91 yards in a win at Tulsa (10/12)…finished with nine receptions and 85 yards against Tulane (11/3)…returned 16 punts for 75 yards and ranked sixth in The American in punt return average at 4.7 yards per return.

2017: Ranked second on the team with 36 receptions for 686 yards… led the team with seven touchdown catches and led all USF receivers in yards per catch (19.1)… set a new school single-game record with 227 receiving yards and set a new career high with nine catches at UCF (11/24)… tied a career high with two touchdown catches, including the game-winning score, and posted six catches for 88 yards against Texas Tech in the Birmingham Bowl (12/23)... caught touchdown passes in six different games.

2016: Started nine of the 13 games he played in, emerging as a deep threat in the Gulf Coast Offense…set career highs with 25 catches for 384 yards (15.4 ypc) and four touchdowns on the year…third on the team in receiving yardage and fourth in receptions…helped the Gulf Coast Offense set school records with 77 touchdowns and 6,650 yards of total offense... set career highs with three catches for 105 yards and two touchdowns at SMU (11/19)… had a career long 65-yard touchdown catch at SMU (11/19)…caught passes in 10 games and at least three passes in five games…made two catches for 53 yards and a touchdown at Temple (10/21)… posted three catches for 46 yards and a touchdown at Memphis (11/12)... caught four passes for 25  yards in the Birmingham Bowl victory over South Carolina (12/29).

2015: Appeared in all 13 games…totaled seven receptions for 164 yards and two touchdowns…scored on catches of 57 and 34 yards..had receptions in five games...caught a 56-yard TD pass in a 45-24 homecoming weekend win over Syracuse (10/10)...had a career-best  three catches for 88 yards and a touchdown in the Miami Beach Bowl (12/21) vs. Western Kentucky...caught a 34-yard TD pass from D'Ernest Johnson in that game and also had a 41-yard reception.

2014: Redshirt season

NICEVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach John Hicks at Niceville HS…named a second-team Class 7A all-state selection and Daily News Large School Player of the Year in 2013…posted 818 receiving yards, 560 rushing yards, 540 return yards and 18 total touchdowns as a senior…helped lead Niceville to a 13-2 record and an appearance in the Class 7A state championship game in 2013…recorded 116 receptions, 1,730 receiving yards, 18 receiving touchdowns, 667 rushing yards, nine rushing touchdowns, 810 return yards and over 3,200 total yards with 30 total touchdowns in his varsity career…rated a three-star recruit by ESPN…rated No. 58 in the 2014 Orlando Sentinel Florida Top 100…also had offers from Florida State, Georgia, Auburn, Louisville, Georgia Tech, N.C. State, California and Minnesota among others.

PERSONAL: The son of Tonja McCants…completed a community outreach project with New Life Christian Ministries...was a 2018 spring graduate with a degree in communication.
