Spring 2018: American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team

FALL 2018: Member of USF Athletics Fall 2018 Academic Honor Roll.

SPRING 2018: Competed in two events this spring - the USF Invitational and the Old Waverly Collegiate... Posted a 78.5 scoring average through nine rounds.

FALL 2017: Competed in his first college event at the Quail Valley Collegiate (Oct. 23-24) and helped the Bulls break school and tournament records during their 19-shot victory... Carded two 73s at the Quail Valley Collegiate and finished fifth on the team with a 74.0 fall season scoring average.

AMERICAN HERITAGE HS: Helped his team capture the state championship in 2016 as a senior after American Heritage placed second the previous season... competed in the state championship in all four of his seasons... as a senior, served as team captain and earned Broward all-county player of the year honors by the Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel... coached by Brandt Moser at American Heritage... member of the academic honor roll.

PERSONAL: Son of Jorge and Kelly Cachon... has a brother, Michael, and a sister, Amanda... brother, Michael Perez, turned pro in 2017 after playing for Southern Miss and Florida Atlantic... logged 292 community service hours in high school.
