The USF Track & Field Stadium is home to the men's and women's track & field teams, and prior to 2011, served as the home for the men's and women's soccer teams.
One of the finest facilities in the Southeastern United States, the stadium has a seating capacity of 4,000. The stadium boasts brand new lights and the field is surrounded by a 400-meter track that was remodeled in the fall of 2008 to include a new state-of-the-art Mondo surface. It is the same surface used at the most recent Olympic Games and is considered the fastest, safest and most durable tracks in the world.
In compliance with IAAF specifications, the renovations also included the expansion of the lanes to 48 inches, along with new runways for the pole vault, javelin and triple and long jumps and new areas for the high jumps and throws.
The facility also features concessions stands, restrooms and a first aid room while a press box at the top of the stands accommodates media members covering USF Athletics.
