USF Coed — Tryouts
- All candidates must pre-register
- Practice Dates for selected candidates take place directly following evaluations

- Pre-registration is required — please register only ONE time
- Full-time USF Students
- First-year college students with an acceptance letter to USF for Summer and/or Fall
- Transfer students who have been accepted OR are pending an admissions decision with a completed USF application (all materials received by USF)
To Prepare for Evaluations
- Complete the Pre-registration — upload your headshot and acceptance letter
- Learn the Fight Song: Fight Song (Regular Version)
- Learn the Sideline: We Are South Florida (Stunts)
- Print & bring the USF Liability Waiver — must have it at tryouts
- Obtain a physical or a physician's clearance letter for participation in 2025 — all new candidates MUST have a physical prior to trying out. Bring a copy to tryouts.
Skill Evaluations
Each participant will be evaluated on the following. Not all skills are necessary to make the team — everyone is evaluated individually based on execution, difficulty, coachability, and attitude.

Evaluations at Tryouts
The team is selected by the USF Coaching Staff. Cuts may be made after each session until the final session when the team is announced. The evaluation is closed to spectators.
You must attend each day. We understand that many candidates will be in school on Friday — we can provide a document on letterhead to verify attendance so you may be excused using a "College Visit Day." If an emergency arises (AP Test, graduation, finals), please contact us as soon as possible.
