2023: Named Third-Team All-AAC by Phil Steele...started all 13 games at nickel despite battling injuries all season long...named Defensive MVP of the Boca Raton Bowl win vs. Syracuse (12/21) after posting five tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack that forced a fumble that was returned for a touchdown...finished the season second on the team with 63 tackles (46 solo), team-bests of 14 TFL, four sacks and five quarterback hurries, seven pass break-ups, one interception, and one forced fumble and a fumble recovery...recorded five tackles and two TFL at WKU in season opener (9/2) and again the next week vs. Florida A&M (9/9)...named AAC Defensive Player of The Week and Bednarik National Defensive Player of The Week after recording eight tackles (four solo), and career-highs with four TFL, and three sacks, as well as one PBU against No. 13 Alabama (9/16)...recovered a fumble at UCONN (10/21)…led the team with two PBU at Memphis (11/4)... tied his career high in tackles with eight, (five solo) and had one QB hit at UTSA (11/17)...recorded his first interception of the season vs Charlotte (11/25), returning it 34 yards.
2022: Saw action in five games...made 15 tackles (10 unassisted) ...missed most of the season due to injury...posted four tackles in the season-opener vs. BYU (9/3)...had two tackles vs. Tulane (10/15) and at Houston (10/29) and three at Temple (11/5)...returned for the UCF game (11/26) and made four stops.
2021: Started all 11 games he played in...finished tied for fourth on the team with 59 tackles...added 2.5 tackles for loss, one fumble recovery and three pass breakups...led USF with a career-best eight tackles at BYU (9/25)...also posted eight tackles at Tulsa (10/16)...logged seven tackles at NC State (9/2) and vs. Florida A&M (9/18)...recovered a fumble vs. Cincinnati (11/12) and had four tackles...had six tackles and 1.0 tackles for loss at Tulane (11/20) and six tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss at UCF (11/26) to close out the year.
2020: Became a top playmaker in the secondary leading the team and ranking sixth in The American with three interceptions on the year...played in all nine of the Bulls' games and made one start...posted 28 tackles, one tackle for loss and one pass breakup on the year...his 138 interception return yards rank second all-time in a season at USF, just 27 shy of the record...posted interceptions in three straight games, returning one 56 yards at Temple (10/17), 31 yards vs. Tulsa (10/23) and 51 yards at Memphis (11/7)...had a season-high five stops at Temple and four stops vs. Tulsa and at Memphis...also logged four stops at Houston (11/14)...registered at least one tackle in every game on the year.
2019: Played in 12 games at defensive back…returned his first career interception 52 yards against Memphis (11/23)…finished the season with 10 tackles…recorded a season-high five tackles vs. Memphis (11/23).
JONES HS: Helped his team make a second-round playoff appearance in 2018…heading into his senior season, was ranked No. 12 on the Orlando Sentinel’s 2019 Central Florida Super60…helped the Tigers to a 9-2 overall record in 2017…earned Florida HS Football all-state first team honors for the 2017 season…showed the ability to play cornerback, safety, and nickel in high school.
