Cross Country (Did not compete)

Outdoor
• Ran in the 1500 and 5000 meters for the Bulls
• BIG EAST Qualifier in the 1500m
• Set a new PR by three seconds at UNF Last Chance Meet (5/13) in the 1500m with a time of 3:51.88
• Finished 16th at BIG EAST Championships in the 1500m, posting a time of 3:59.44
• Posted a 3rd place finish and qualified for the BIG EAST Championships at the LSU Alumni Gold meet (4/23) in the 1500m with a time of 3:54.14

Indoor
• Ran in the mile and 3000 meter run for the Bulls
• BIG EAST Qualifier in the mile run
• Set a new PR at BIG EAST, running 4:13.95 in the prelims to finish in 10th place
• Qualified in the mile at Minnesota (1/22) after running a 4:14.70
• Finished fifth at Penn State (2/5) with a time of 4:14.03
• In the 3000m, ran a PR time of 8:43.73 to place 13th at Penn State

2009-10
Outdoor
• Ran 3:58.34 in the 1,500 meters at the Sea Ray Relays (4/9)
• Lowered his PR to 3:55.98 at the FSU Relays (3/26) in the 1,500 meters
• Almost posted a BIG EAST qualifying time in the 1,500 meters with a PR of 3:56.74 at the Bulls Invitational (3/19)
• Ran 8:39.90 in the 3,000 meters at the USF Open (3/5) to land in eighth in the all-time record book
Indoor
• Qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in the mile
• Ran the mile in the DMR as the Bulls placed sixth at the BIG EAST Championships (2/21) in 9:56.06
• Posted a time of 4:16.12 in the mile to finish sixth at the Sykes-Sabock Challenge (Feb. 6) for a BIG EAST time
• Ran the mile in the DMR as the Bulls finished second in 10:01.72 at Sykes-Sabock
• Finished third in the mile in 4:20.66 at the Minnesota Invitational (Jan. 23)
Cross Country
• Had the top time for USF at the Mountain Dew Invitational (Sept. 18) and the NCAA South Regional (Nov. 14)
• Also finished second for the Bulls at the Early Bird Classic, the Hatter Invitational and the BIG EAST Championships
• Also competed at the Paul Short Invitational (Oct. 2)
• Had a season-best 26:17.30 at the Mountain Dew Invite
• Ran a 16:26.00 in the 5k Early Bird Classic and a 32:37.56 at the NCAA South Regional

2008-09
• Named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team
• Tabbed team's Outstanding Male Cross Country Athlete of the Year
• Named team's Outstanding Academic Freshman
Outdoor
• Ran a personal-best 4:03.81 in the 1,500m at LSU Alumni Gold (April 18)
• Crossed the finish line in a career-best 15:30.41 at the Florida Relays (April 3-4)
• Set a personal-record with a 8:55.13 in the 3,000m at the USF Open (March 6)
Cross Country
• Represented the Bulls at the 2008 NCAA South Regional Championships
• Was the top USF finisher at the BIG EAST Championships with a 27:00.50
• Set a personal-best at the Paul Short Invitational with a 26:09

Buchholz High School
• Earned All-State honors in cross country in 2007 and in track in 2008
• Ran personal-bests of 16:05 in cross country and 4:22 in the mile
• Cross country team MVP in 2007 and track MVP in 2008
• Named Gainesville Sun Runner of the Year in 2007
• Team captain of cross country and track teams senior year
• Received three letters in cross country and four in track
• Member of the Spanish Honor Society and the National Honor Society
