    Assistant Tight Ends Coach
Stolberg was named assistant tight ends Coach in March of 2025, joining head coach Alex Golesh’s third staff at South Florida. Upon the arrival of head coach Brian Hartline in 2026, Stolberg was retained on Hartline's first staff as assistant tight ends coach.
 
Stolberg came to Tampa following a stint at South Alabama, where he served as a Defensive Analyst. In that role, he was instrumental in the Jaguars' preparation, leading the advanced scouting efforts for the defense.
 
Before moving to the FBS level, Stolberg made a significant impact at his alma mater, Butler Community College. During the 2023 season, he served as the Co-Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach, moving up after a successful 2022 campaign as the program's quarterback coach. In his time at Butler, he had four Division I quarterback signees.

Stolberg’s coaching path also includes stops at Missouri Western, where he coached running backs during the 2022 offseason, and Mississippi State helping with outside receivers (2021). In Starkville, he finished playing and started coaching on the offensive support staff under the legendary Mike Leach, gaining elite-level experience in the Air Raid system.
 
Playing Career
A former collegiate quarterback, Stolberg’s playing career spanned three programs: Louisiana Tech, Butler CC, and Mississippi State. At Butler, he was a member of two Midwest Classic Bowl-winning teams (2018–19). He concluded his career at Mississippi State, where he balanced his role on the Bulldogs' roster with an inside look at SEC program operations.
 
Personal
A native of New Orleans, Stolberg was a standout at Fontainebleau High School, earning All-District honors after a senior season featuring 2,900 total yards and 29 touchdowns.
 
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State in 2021, where he was also a member of the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll. He is the son of April Taylor and Bernard Stolberg and has four siblings: Zachary , Ella, Cooper, and Cecelia.
