2022: Saw action in 12 games, making three starts… logged 18 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss on the year…posted four tackles and 0.5 tackles against Tulsa (11/18) and four tackles and 1.0 tackles for loss vs. UCF (11/26) in the last two games of the year…posted at least one tackle in nine games…had three tackles vs. SMU (11/12).
2021: Appeared in five of the Bulls' nine games, including two starts at defensive end...logged a season-high three tackles and 0.5 tackle for lass at NC State (9/2)...logged two tackles, 0.5 tackle for loss and a blocked kick at BYU (9/25).
2020: Played in all nine of the Bulls' games and started two at defensive end...posted 10 tackles on the year, recording at least one tackle in seven games...had two tackles in conference games vs. Cincinnati (10/3), ECU (10/10) and UCF (11/27).
2019: Played in nine games after missing the first two games of the season…had a season-high three tackles and made a tackle for a loss of 3 yards vs. Temple (11/7)…finished the season with eight tackles and one tackle for loss.
2018: Saw action in 12 games in his first season on the field, mostly playing special teams…returned a kickoff for 2 yards in a win over Georgia Tech (9/8).
2017: Did not see action.
SOUTHEAST HS: Played for Rashad West at Southeast High School in Bradenton…played both ways during his senior year because of Southeast’s need for impact offensive linemen and served as a team captain…earned all-state honors in football and wrestling...as a senior, totaled 35 tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks in nine games….as a junior, totaled 42 total tackles, 11.5 tackles for a loss and tied for second on the team with 4.5 sacks and eight QB hurries…also wrestled at Southeast and earned tournament MVP honors in January 2017 at the 11th annual Tiger Duals…wrestling team captain...honor roll student...rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports and Rivals… also received offers from Boston College, Duke, NC State, Navy and Buffalo.
PERSONAL: Son of Amanda Grant...has two older sisters, Mariah and Naomi...earned his degree in marketing in the spring of 2021...born on Feb. 17, 1999...named to the fall 2017, spring 2018 and spring and fall 2020 USF Athletics Honor Roll...selected to the 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Teams.
