NEWSOME HS: Posted 82 career tackles and also carried the ball as a running back while playing in 27 games…logged 20 tackles in his senior year while running 83 times for 347 yards and catching one pass…as a junior posted 39 tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.

PERSONAL: Named to the Athletics Honor roll in the Spring of 2024.
