A former walk-on, Reaves earned a scholarship prior to the start of the 2017 season and went on to start 37 straight games at defensive end (30) and linebacker (7) while playing in 45 on his career...a four-time academic all-conference selection, he earned his degree in 2018 and went on to post a 3.8 grad school GPA in Entrepreneurship...finished his career with 212 tackles, 30.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, six pass break-ups, three fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and an interception...helped lead the Bulls to three bowl games, including a pair of wins over Power 5 opponents in the 2016 and 2017 Birmingham Bowls, and posted a career-best 14 tackles in the 2018 Gasparilla Bowl.
2019: Started all 12 games on the defensive line...tied for the team lead with 4.0 sacks and tied for second with 10.0 tackles for loss...ranked fourth on the team with 63 tackles and added an interception and two recovered fumbles...had a sack, two tackles for loss and four tackles in the season-opener vs. Wisconsin (8/30)...tied for the team lead with eight tackles at Georgia Tech (9/7)...posted six tackles vs. SMU (9/28)...had eight tackles and a sack in a win over BYU (10/12)...posted a season high 12 tackles and added a fumble recovery at Navy (10/19)...intercepted a pass and returned it 48 yards at ECU (10/26)...posted seven tackles and a sack vs. UCF (11/29).
2018: Started all 13 games on the year, the first six at defensive end and the last seven at middle linebacker following an injury to MLB Nico Sawtelle that caused him to miss the remainder of the season... ranked second on the team and 16th in The American with a career-best 89 tackles (47 solo)...posted 6.8 tackles per game on the year, upping that to 9.4 tpg after moving to linebacker, posting 66 tackles in the final seven games...ranked sixth on the team with 7.0 tackles for loss…had 0.5 sacks and one fumble recovery…posted double-digit tackles in four games, including a career-best and USF bowl record 14 tackles to lead the team in the Gasparilla Bowl vs. Marshall (12/20)...tallied 12 tackles at Houston (10/27) to lead the team…finished with 10 tackles at Cincinnati (11/10) and vs. UCF (11/23)…registered eight tackles in a win over UConn (10/20)...member of American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.
2017: Earned a scholarship in fall camp and exploded on the college scene, leading the team with 14.0 tackles for loss while ranking sixth with 51 total tackles (32 solo), along with posting 4.0 sacks, seven QB hurries and three pass breakups... registered tackles for losses in 10 games this season and sacks in five games… tied his career high with 2.5 tackles for loss against Tulsa (11/16)…started all 12 games at defensive end...made a career-high nine tackles and totaled 2.5 tackles for loss against Houston (10/28)... member of American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.

MANATEE HIGH SCHOOL: A three-sport athlete at Manatee, competing in football, basketball, and track …helped the Hurricanes to a State championship in 2011 … logged 87 tackles, one sack, one interception and a caused fumble in a his senior season...helped Manatee go 11-1...posted 38 tackles as a junior...tallied 125 career tackles...named the Manatee County Defensive Player of the Year and earned All-State honors.
PERSONAL: Born Aug. 20, 1996…son of Wanda and Greg Reaves...selected to the 2017-18 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team...named to the USF Athletics Honor Roll in spring 2018 and fall 2018...slated to compete his graduate degree in Entrepreneurship and Applied Technologies in Spring of 2019.. earned his bachelor’s degree in management in Summer of 2018.
