HIGH SCHOOL: Played both ways…three-time all-conference selection…selected for the Shrine Bowl…ran for more than 4,400 yards and 49 touchdowns at Seventy-First High School…finished his senior season with 134 carries for 1,486 yards (11.1 ypc) and 17 touchdowns….in his junior season had 117 carries for 1,207 yards and 13 touchdowns…ran for 1,460 yards on 159 carries and 15 touchdowns as a sophomore…also returned kicks and posted 4,880 all-purpose yards on his career…on defense, he logged 109 tackles, two sack and an interception…had a career-best 54 tackles as a sophomore and posted 42 as a senior…also ran track..rated a three-star recruit…247Sports Composite Rating of .8600…also had offers from 18 other programs, including from Ole Miss, South Carolina, Virginia, Duke, Memphis, James Madison, UConn.
