A transfer defensive end from Texas A&M who previously played four seasons and served as a team captain at UCF…brings 156 career tackles, 24.5 tackles for loss,eight sacks and five forced fumbles…had played in 51 career games.
2024 (Texas A&M): Joined the program in April…appeared in one game for the Aggies playing vs. McNeese State and recorded one tackle.
2023 (UCF): Played in 13 games…posted 47 tackles, four tackles for loss and a quarterback hurry on the year.
2022 (UCF): Started all 14 games…named an Honorable Mention All-AAC pick by Pro Football Network…one of five team captains and the only junior among the five…finished tied for third in tackles with 54, including three games with six (Louisville, Temple, Cincinnati)…turned in a strong game against Louisville with six tackles (5 solo) and one sack…tallied four tackles, one TFL for six yards vs. FAU…made three tackles, half a TFL and forced a fumble, broke up a pass and had 2 QB hurries vs. Georgia Tech…had six tackles and a quarterback hurry vs. Temple…notched six tackles and one sack for eight yards that resulted in third-quarter safety vs. Cincinnati…named AAC Defensive Player of Week for his play vs. Cincinnati…in the AAC Title Game, he had three tackles, a sack for two yards, two TFL for four yards and one forced fumble.
2021 (UCF): Appeared in all 13 games, making 10 starts at defensive end…third on the team with 7.5 tackles for loss and tied for third with three sacks…totaled 39 tackles and was second on the team with seven quarterback hurries…added a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries at Louisville (9/17)…had a sack and two tackles at Navy (10/2)…recorded four tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack vs. ECU (10/9)…recovered a fumble, had a sack, and finished with five tackles at Cincinnati (10/16)…had one hurry, recovered a fumble and recorded three tackles at Temple (10/30)…finished with four tackles and one tackle for loss at SMU (11/13)…totaled five tackles, one tackle for loss, a forced fumble, and a hurry vs. South Florida (11/26)…recorded four tackles, one tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry vs. Florida (12/23)…had four tackles, one for a loss and one hurry in the Gasparilla Bowl.
2020 (UCF): Appeared in all 10 games, starting twice on the defensive line…totaled 16 tackles with 4.5 tackles for loss and two sacks…also had an interception, a pass break-up, a hurry, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery…named 247 Sports National True Freshman of the Week once (9/20)…also named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll once (9/21)…named to the FWAA Freshman All-America Watch List (10/20)…earned AAC All-Academic Team honors…in collegiate debut at Georgia Tech (9/19) he forced a fumble, recovered a fumble and had an interception…at Tulsa (10/3) recorded first his career sack, had 1.5 tackles for loss and finished with three tackles in his first career start…had two tackles and a sack at South Florida (11/27)…totaled four tackles and a quarterback hurry vs. BYU (12/22)…had two tackles with one for a loss in the Boca Raton Bowl.
HIGH SCHOOL: Had 69 tackles, nine sacks and two recovered fumbles as senior outside linebacker while also playing tight end at Winter Haven High School…loss in Florida 7A playoffs first round in 2019 gave Blue Devils 7-4 mark…named to the preseason Super 16 team by the Lakeland Ledger
PERSONAL: Born June 13, 2002...married....he and his wife, Sage, have a daughter, Nyellie, born in May of 2024...earned his bachelor's degree in psychology...wants to be a sports psychologist...one of eight siblings (four brothers, three sisters)...older brother, Donald, played cornerback at Western Michigan (2011-14) earning first-team all-Mid-American Conference honor as senior, and played professional football with the Indianapolis Colts and in Canada...Donald is currently a defensive back coach at UMass...younger brother, Isaac, is a forward on the Yale basketball team...earned 2020 AAC All-Academic Team honors…earned Dean’s List honors at UCF in the fall of 2020.
