Played two seasons at defensive back for Texas El-Paso before transferring to Kentucky and sitting out his transfer season in 1996...Projected at linebacker for South Florida...Returns home to Tampa Bay, where he starred for Jesuit High.

TEXAS-EL PASO - Played strong safety for the Miners...Starter as a sophomore in 1995, he had 33 tackles, including nine against Arizona State...Played in 10 of 11 games as a true freshman as a backup safety and on special teams.

PREP - Played three seasons as a running back/defensive back at Jesuit High between 1991-93, when the Tigers were a combined 29-7 with a State Championship appearance in 1992, his junior season...Earned MVP in state title game with 100 rushing yards...Second team all-state and the Golden Helmet Award winner as the best player in Hillsborough County (Classes1-4A) in 1993...USF teammate Clif Dell won that same award for Classes 5-6A in the same season...Had over 800 rushing yards with 10 touchdowns that season in just six appearances as a running back. ..Also led team in interceptions...Coached by Dominic Ciao...Also played baseball.
