Two-time member of American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team

2018: Earned duties as the holder and saw action in the first to games of the season vs. Elon and Georgia Tech...suffered a broken finger in practice and did not see action the remainder of the year...  member of American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.

2017: Redshirt season... member of American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.

PLANT HS: Completed 76 of 126 passes for 1,001 yards and 13 touchdowns in his final two seasons…as a junior, threw for 724 yards and 10 touchdowns…posted 321 rushing yards, five touchdowns with 336 receiving yards and another score in his final two seasons…as a defensive back, totaled 14 tackles as a senior...named MVP of the state semifinal game in 2016 and earned the team’s Heart and Soul Award...also attended Wiregrass Ranch High School in Tampa...four-year member of the principal’s honor roll.

PERSONAL: Son of Chris Trina...has one sister, Danielle (20)...majoring in business...named to the USF Athletics Honor Roll in fall 201, spring 2018 and fall 2018...selected to the 2017-18 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team...born on Aug. 29, 1999.
