A graduate transfer tight end that joined the Bulls in January of 2026 after a season at Furman University (FCS) and three at Newberry College (Div. II)...came to USF having played in 26 career games.

2025 (FURMAN): Joined the Furman program in January as graduate student following three years at Newberry...saw action in 12 games and made 10 receptions for 88 yards as the team went 6-6....had a season-best two catches for 20 yards vs. ETSU, two for 20 yards at Chattanooga and two for 10 yards at Clemson...made receptions in seven games.

2022-24 (NEWBERRY): Saw action in 14 games over two seasons at NCAA Division II Newberry College after redshirting in 2022...caught two passes for 13 yards, with a long of 11 yards coming against Barton in 2024.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2022 graduate of Camden (3A) High School...football coach was Brian Rimpf...played tight end, left tackle, and also served as the long snapper...two-time all-region selection who helped lead Camden to three region championships and a pair of Lower State titles his junior and season seasons...also starred in track & field.

PERSONAL: Full name is Louis Singleton Clyburn IV...born January 5, 2004, in Durham, North Carolina...son of Louis and Melissa Clyburn...has three siblings — Grayson, Kaitlyn, and Max...father played football at Duke from 1990-94....earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from Newberry College in December of 2024.
