BEFORE USF: Similar to current USF Punter Andrew Stokes, Goater comes to the Bulls from ProKick Australia, which is a program that trains Australian athletes, primarily from Australian Rules Football, to become punters in American college football…the 24-year-old spent time across multiple leagues in Australia Rules Football, first appearing in matches for the Sunbury Lions in the Ballarat Football League…Goater played at both junior and senior levels for the Sunbury Lions, alongside his younger brother Josh on the senior team during the 2021 season, before Josh's selection in the AFL draft…Goater played for the Calder Cannons, furthering his talents…he spent 2023 with Footscray VFL, another Australian rules football club…he then returned to Deer Park Football Club for the 2024 season…he is rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports and On3, with an 80.0 rating from On3.
