2024: Played in four games on the season…recorded six tackles and a tackle for loss...had a season-best three tackles vs. Miami (9/21).
2023: All-AAC Fourth Team by Phil Steele and Honorable Mention by AAC coaches...started all 12 games he played in...finished season with 42 tackles (13 solo), which was second for Bulls defensive linemen...added 8.5 TFL (T-3rd), 0.5 sacks and two quarterback hurries...had three tackles and 1.5 TFL in Boca Raton Bowl win vs. Syracuse (12/21), holding the orange to 20 yards rushing, 159 total yards and posting the largest shutout (45-0) in NCAA bowl history...recorded a season-high five tackles (two solo) vs. No. 13 Alabama (9/16)…recorded 0.5 sacks at Navy (9/30)...one of three USF defenders to register two quarterback hits on the night at UTSA (11/17).
2022: Appeared in six games, starting all before an ankle injury suffered in the Cincinnati (10/8) game ended his season…had three tackles in the season-opener vs. BYU (9/3)…made season-best six tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss vs. Howard (9/10)…posted three tackles and 2.5 tackles for losses at ECU (10/1)…had two tackles at Louisville (9/24) and at Cincinnati (10/8).
2021 (MINNESOTA): Saw action against Ohio State, Miami (OH), and at Northwestern…made two tackles against Illinois…competed at Iowa…recorded one tackle at Indiana.Â
2020 (MINNESOTA): Played in four games, made six tackles and broke up one pass…made his Minnesota debut and made two tackles at Illinois…totaled three tackles against Iowa…registered one tackle at Nebraska, and competed at Wisconsin…earned Academic All-Big Ten honors.

CEDAR GROVE HS: Played his senior season at Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Georgia…wore No. 52 for the Saints…as a senior, led his team to a 14-1 record and a state championship…totaled 45 tackles for loss and seven sacks…coached by Jermaine Smith…played his junior season at Washington High School and made 30 tackles for loss…scored five touchdowns and returned two interceptions for touchdowns…four-star recruit by 247 Sports and ESPN…ranked 215 in ESPN 300.
PERSONAL: Son of Rashad Cheney Sr. and Lakesha Wilder…has two brothers (Johntoviaus, Michael) and one sister (Arjalay)...named to the Athletics Honor Roll in the Fall of 2023 and the Spring of 2024...graduated undergraduate studies in the Fall of 2023.
