Charles Lovett joined USF Athletics as the Director of On-Campus Recruiting in May 2019.

Prior to becoming a Bull, Lovett served as a talent acquisition partner for the University of Florida football program from June 2015 to March 2019. In that role, Lovett made executive decisions on issues affecting recruitment of his division, managed prospect videos and assisted the head coach and recruiting coordinator with roster management. Lovett also structured and organized in-state and national recruiting boards and assisted with the organization of official and unofficial visits.

Prior to his role with the Gators, Lovett was wide receiver for Colorado State University from 2011-14. The longtime team captain posted 1,323 yards on 92 receptions in his college career before being invited to participate in New Orleans Saints rookie minicamp. Lovett graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in May 2015.

Lovett was born in Gainesville, Fla., and was a four-year starter on the Hillsborough High School football team in Tampa. The three-time all-county selection finished his prep career as Hillsborough High School’s all-time leader in receiving yards with nearly 2,300.
