Jes Hryn was named executive assistant to head coach Brian Hartline in December of 2025.
She came to South Florida after a year out of football working as director of event planning for Aspire Tour.
Hryn has experience working with several college football programs including Alabama, North Carolina, Texas Tech, Temple and Charlotte, as well as with the NFL’s Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears.
At North Carolina (2021-24) she served as executive assistant to Mack Brown for a year (2024-25) and spent three years as director of on-campus recruiting.
Prior to that, she was part of Texas Tech head coach Matt Wells staff as director of on-campus recruiting (2020). She oversaw many of the recruiting functions regarding campus visits from prospective student-athletes, including the planning of all travel, accommodations, meals, meetings, tours and activities. She also coordinated the game day experience for all recruits traveling to campus on home football weekends.
She arrived in Lubbock following two seasons in a similar capacity at Temple (2019-20) where she was the assistant director for on-campus recruiting and oversaw all unofficial and official visits, junior days and game day recruit programming. She was promoted in February 2020 after spending the 2019 season as a graduate assistant in the Temple recruiting office.
Prior to Temple, Hryn spent one year as an entertainment intern for the Carolina Panthers, assisting with not only the game day experience but also coordinating events such as Training Camp Kickoff. She was previously an entertainment intern with the Chicago Bears during the summer of 2017.
During her time with the Panthers, Hryn was also a volunteer recruiting assistant for the University of North Carolina-Charlotte staff where she coordinated the game day recruiting operation and helped maintain the recruiting database throughout the 2018 season.
A native of Chicago, Hryn earned her bachelor's degree in sports broadcasting from the University of Alabama in 2018. While in Tuscaloosa, she served three seasons as a student recruitment team member for the Crimson Tide, assisting in all aspects of on-campus recruiting for an Alabama program that boasted two top-ranked classes during that time.
