MAYER LUTHERAN HS: An all-state selection in his senior season at Mayer Lutheran High School…helped lead Mayer Lutheran High School to a state championship as a senior…selected district MVP as a senior and All-Metro second team…a two-way starter at tight end and defensive tackle… All-Metro first-team offense and defense as a junior… finished his sophomore season with over 700 receiving yards and averaged 30 yards per reception…three-star recruit as ranked by 247Sports.com composite ranking…a three-star recruit by both ESPN and ON3 Sports…signed with Liberty out of high school and also had offers from Iowa State, South Dakota State, North Dakota State and Western Illinois…also competed in basketball and golf… also excelled on the basketball floor where he had a Division I offer from Western Illinois to play basketball…averaged 20 points per game during his junior season and surpassed the 1,000 career point total on the hardwood.
