USF Athletics

An athletic tight end that spent the 2022 season at Liberty and joined USF in January of 2023…played both was in high school (TE/DT) and helped lead his team to a Minnesota state title as an all-state tight end in his senior year…he will have four seasons of eligibility with the Bulls.

MAYER LUTHERAN HS: An all-state selection in his senior season at Mayer Lutheran High School…helped lead Mayer Lutheran High School to a state championship as a senior…selected district MVP as a senior and All-Metro second team…a two-way starter at tight end and defensive tackle… All-Metro first-team offense and defense as a junior… finished his sophomore season with over 700 receiving yards and averaged 30 yards per reception…three-star recruit as ranked by 247Sports.com composite ranking…a three-star recruit by both ESPN and ON3 Sports…signed with Liberty out of high school and also had offers from Iowa State, South Dakota State, North Dakota State and Western Illinois…also competed in basketball and golf… also excelled on the basketball floor where he had a Division I offer from Western Illinois to play basketball…averaged 20 points per game during his junior season and surpassed the 1,000 career point total on the hardwood.
 
PERSONAL: The son of Kathy and Daniel Martin…birthday is May 17.
