2017: Ranked fourth on the team with 111 rushing yards on 26 carries (4.3 ypc) while also serving as a key player on special teams with five solo tackles… set career highs with eight carries for 43 yards and a long of 13 yards against Illinois (9/15)… posted six carries for 32 yards against Temple (9/21)… rushed six times for 29 yards at East Carolina (9/30).

2016: Appeared in nine games, carrying the ball eight times for 26 yards with a long of 9 yards, and playing special teams...made seven tackles covering kickoffs.

SOUTHWEST MIAMI HIGH SCHOOL: A three-star recruit, Sands saw action as a quarterback at Southwest HS…rushed 69 times for 447 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior…also posted a team-leading 27 catches for 413 yards and five touchdowns…rushed 93 times for 635 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2013…also had 21 catches for 572 yards and 65 total tackles… selected for the Miami-Dade North Vs.
