A three-year starter for the Bulls, Atterbury made 35 straight starts to end his career and 39 total on his career... he helped plow the way for 1,000 yard rushers Jordan Cronkrite (2018), Quinton Flowers (2016 & 2017) and Marlon Mack (2016)...a four-time academic all-conference selection, he earned his degree in pre-general business in 2018 and went on to post a 3.9 GPA in graduate school in Entrepreneurship.
2019: Started all 12 games, two at left tackle and eight at right guard...helped the Bulls gain 1,936 yards rushing and average 330 yards per game.
2018: Started 13 games at right guard and ranks third among returning USF players for 2019 with 27 career starts…helped Jordan Cronkrite post the ninth 1,000-yard rushing season in program history and tie the program record with five straight 100-yard rushing games…played in a key role in USF ranking 33rd nationally in total offense (437.7 ypg) and running for 194 yards per game…USF posted 2,517 rushing yards on the year, the fourth-most rushing yards in program season history and fifth-most rushing touchdowns (26)…helped USF register 63 explosive plays of 20 yards or more... member of American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.
2017: Started the last 10 games at right guard… helped pave the way for the Bulls to rank second in the conference and eighth nationally with 264.1 rushing yards per game… also helped the Bulls rank sixth nationally in total offense (513.0 ypg) and 10th in scoring offense (38.3 ppg)... member of American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.
2016: Played in five games with four starts at right tackle before suffering a season-ending injury...helped the Bulls run for 200 or more yards in each of the games he played, including 293 yards vs. Northern Illinois (9/10) and 290 vs. Florida State (9/24)...helped USF post 658 yards of total offense, third-most in program history, in a victory over Northern Illinois...suffered a season ending ankle injury at Cincinnati (10/1)...had started four straight games prior to the injury... member of American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.

CLEARWATER CENTRAL CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL: A three-star prospect, Atterbury earned Florida All-State Class 3A First-Team honors and was also an all-state player as a junior… named to the Tampa Tribune All-Pinellas County team after anchoring a line that allowed just three sacks all season in 2014… helped Central Catholic make the state semifinals as a senior and the state championship in 2013… chosen for the 20th annual Pinellas Senior All-Star Game… also received offers from Cincinnati, UCF, Syracuse, Yale, Massachusetts, FIU, Georgia Southern, Georgia State…Coached by John Davis.
PERSONAL: Pre-general business major that earned his degree in December 2018...named to USF Athletics Honor Roll in fall 2017, spring 2018 and fall 2018...selected to the 2017-18 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.
