2013: Davis appeared in 11 games...tallied 39 carries for 142 yards rushing on the year, which ranked third on the team…ran the ball eight times for 38 yards with a 16-yard third-and-long carry off USF’s own goal line in a win at UConn (10/12)…posted six or more carries in five straight games and saw carries in six games total on the year…caught a pass in four straight games…had 22 yards on six carries and caught two passes for 15 yards at Houston (10/31)…had 38 yards on six carries and caught two passes for 13 yards vs. Memphis (11/16)…caught two passes for seven yards and ran seven times for 20 yards vs. SMU (11/23)…caught a 16-yard pass vs. No. 18 Louisville (10/26) and logged eight carries for 14 yards.

2012: Appeared in seven games … rushed twice for seven yards.

2011: Redshirted.

STEPHENSON HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Ron Gartrell at Stephenson … an all-state selection and region MVP … posted almost 2,000 yards and 25 TDs during his last two seasons … earned all-state, all-county and region MVP honors as a senior … posted over 1,300 yards and 22 TDs, while catching 21 passes for 175 yards and four TDs … rushed for nearly 700 yards and three TDs as a junior, while playing in just six games.

PERSONAL: A member of the A/B Honor Roll and earned a spot on the Principal’s List … father, Willie Sr., played football at Tennessee-Chattanooga (1989-91) … brother, Tim Benford, plays wide receiver at Tennessee Tech … majoring in mass communication.
