Brett L. Huebner was named Senior Associate Athletics Director/Chief Financial Officer in August 2007. In this role, Huebner is responsible for the overall financial management of the Athletics Department's $41 million operation including, but not limited to, financial reporting, budgeting, long-term and capital planning, forecasting, debt management, contract administration, internal controls, and business operations/systems. Huebner also serves as the Chief Financial Officer for USF Sun Dome, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization, established with a primary mission of managing and operating the Sun Dome Arena.
In addition to financial management responsibilities, Huebner oversees the Department's human resources, ticket operations, equipment services, information technology, and travel functions. Upon entering the 2011-12 academic year, Huebner serves as the sport administrator for the USF men's and women's tennis programs.
Huebner joined the USF administrative staff in March 2005 as the Assistant Athletics Director for Business Operations & Human Resources.
Prior to his USF affiliation, Huebner's experience includes working as the Assistant Director of Business Operations in the University of Miami (FL) Athletics Department and as an Audit Associate in the Milwaukee office of Deloitte & Touche, LLP.
Huebner earned his Bachelor of Business Administration-Accounting Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). While at UWM, Huebner participated as a member of the baseball team and was a scholar-athlete award recipient. In 2005, he received his Master of Business Administration-Sport Management Degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. Huebner is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Wisconsin. He and his wife Jessica reside in Tampa, FL.
