2021-22: Finished the season – and her career – as one of the best players to ever play at South Florida … Started the year by being named to the Preseason Katrina McClain Award Watch List given to the nation’s top power forward and ended the season as one of 10 finalists for the honor … Was an America Athletic Conference Second Team All-Conference selection and was named to The American All-Tournament Team for the second-straight season … In just 85 career games for the Bulls, Mununga grabbed 967 career rebounds, third on the school’s all-time rebounding chart, and was just 33 rebounds from becoming the third player in school history to grab 1,000 career boards … Her career rebounding average, 11.4 rebounds per game, is tops in program history … In addition, Mununga scored 839 career points, 9.9 points per game for her career … In her 85 career outings, she recorded 33 career double-doubles … Mununga played in 33 games during the 2021-22 season with 32 starts, averaging 32.3 minutes per game … She averaged 10.6 points and a conference-best 11.5 rebounds per contest, making her the only player in The American to average a double-double … Her total rebounds (378) and rebounding average were ranked fifth and 11
th in the nation, respectively … Also led the team in blocked shots with 35 … Mununga logged 13 double-doubles during her final season in the Green and Gold and grabbed double-digit rebounds in 21 games, including 15-plus rebounds six times and 20 or more twice … Offensively, Mununga scored double figures in 16 games and shot 44.6 percent (133-for-298) from the field, second on the team … She scored a career-high 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds at Tulane (Jan. 12) and netted 22 points and grabbed 15 boards against Cincinnati (Feb. 16) … In addition, Mununga had 13 points and 20 rebounds at UT Arlington (Dec. 2) … She hauled down a career-high 23 rebounds against defending national champion Stanford (Nov. 26) in South Florida’s 57-54 win, a total that was tied for the fourth most in the nation during the season … Fell just shy of 20 rebounds in three games with 18 against UT Rio Grande Valley (Nov. 9), at Houston (Jan. 30) and against Houston (March 9) in the semifinals of the American Athletic Conference Tournament … Also had 15 rebounds at Cincinnati (Jan. 5) and against the Bearcats later in the season … In addition to her career-high 26 points against Tulane and 22 against Cincinnati, Mununga also had 21 points against Jacksonville (Dec. 29), and 18 points against Syracuse (Nov. 20) in the inaugural Women’s Battle 4 Atlantis.      Â
2020-21: One of the top power forwards in the nation … Mununga started the season named to the Preseason Katrina McClain Award Watch List given to the nation’s top power forward … Was an America Athletic Conference First Team All-Conference selection and was named to The American All-Tournament Team, averaging 16.3 rebounds per game in the three AAC tourney games and grabbing a tournament record 49 rebounds … She was also named AAC Co-Player of the Week, and was tabbed a two-time member of the league’s weekly Honor Roll … Played in all 23 games for the Bulls, earning the start in each outing … She was one of just three players on the roster to start in every game … Fell just shy of averaging a double-double for the season, netting 9.7 points per game, good enough for fourth on the team, and 12.9 rebounds per outing … She shot 44.2 percent (73-for-165) from the field, and connected on 50.0 percent-or-better from the floor 11 times … Her rebound-per-game average was tops in The American and third in the nation, while her total rebounds (297) were first in the AAC and 10
th in the nation … Finished the season with 589 career boards (324 offensive), 17
th on the school’s career rebounding list … In addition, her 4.4 offensive rebounds per contest were first in the conference and 11
th in Division I, and her 8.5 defensive rebounds per outing were first in The American and 10
th in the nation … Mununga also rejected 1.1 shots per outing, 10
th in the AAC … Scored in double figures in 12 games for the Bulls and grabbed double-digit rebounds 18 times … She also recorded 11 double-doubles, finishing the season with 20 for her career … Had a career night against East Carolina (Jan. 2), recording just the eighth 20-20 performance in a Bulls’ uniform, pouring in 23 points and grabbing 21 rebounds, both career highs … Mununga was an impressive 7-of-11 (63.6 percent) from the field and 9-of-12 (75.0 percent) from the free-throw line against the Pirates … She also grabbed 20 boards, to go along with 10 points, at Temple (Feb. 24) … Mununga recorded four consecutive double-doubles, averaging 16.2 points and 16.5 rebounds per game during that stretch, a four-game span from Feb. 13 through Feb. 24 that included back-to-back 19-point performances against Tulsa (Feb. 13) and Cincinnati (Feb. 17) … The stretch also consisted of a 17-point, 17-rebound effort against Tulane (Feb. 20) … Eight of those 17 rebounds against the Green Wave came on the offensive glass and marked a career-high … For the second-straight season, Mununga had a big outing against, then, defending national champion Baylor (Dec. 1), scoring 13 points – on a perfect offensive night, going 5-for-5 from the field and 3-for-3 from behind the arc – and grabbing 10 rebounds … Her three treys made against the Lady Bears marked a career-high.
2019-20: Proved to be one of the top post players in the American Athletic Conference during her first season with the Bulls … Was a three-time AAC Weekly Honor Roll selection … Saw time in 29 of USF’s 32 games, getting the start in 27 … Missed three games during the season with a pulled hamstring … Was third on the team in scoring, averaging 9.2 points per game, and tops in rebounding, grabbing 10.1 boards per contest … Her rebounds per game average was second in The American, along with her total rebounds (292), in addition to being ranked 32
nd and 36
th in the nation, respectively … Averaged 3.8 offensive rebounds per game, good enough for second in The American and 26
th in the nation … Also averaged 1.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game … Shot 50.0 percent (109-for-218) from the field on the year and 71.0 percent (49-for-69) from the free-throw line … Shot 50.0 percent-or-better from the field 18 times and 60.0 percent plus in 10 outings … Scored double-figure points in 15 games and hauled down double-digit rebounds 17 times … Had a tremendous start to her USF career, recording five double-doubles in her first seven games played, and finished the season with nine … Scored a career-high 16 points three times, with her first big performance coming at No. 3 Baylor (Nov. 19) where she poured in 16 points to go along with 12 rebounds and three steals … Shot 50.0 percent (6-of-12) from the field against the Lady Bears, while also hitting her lone trey of the night … Also had 16 points in back-to-back outings against Brown (Dec. 30) – in addition to a then career-high 14 rebounds – and in The American opener against Cincinnati (Jan. 5) … Tallied 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds – seven on the offensive glass – against South Dakota State (Nov. 28) in game one of the Cancun Challenge … Grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds at Tulane (Feb. 13), and fell one board shy of equaling that mark with 16 against SMU (Feb. 29) … Had 15 boards at Wichita State (Jan. 22) … Finished the year grabbing double-digit rebounds in four of the last five games, and in seven of the last nine … Blocked a career-best four shots against Wichita State and had three blocks on two other occasions against Texas (Nov. 8) and Brown.

JUNIOR COLLEGE CAREER: Came to USF after a successful junior college career with Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, where she was a two-time NJCAA All-American ... Mununga earned First Team honors in 2018-19 to go along with her second-team honors from 2017-18 ... Averaged a double-double for the Lady Norse, with 17.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists-per-game during the 2018-19 campaign, leading Northeastern Oklahoma to a 22-9 team record ... She led the nation in field goal percentage, (64.9) and was ranked third nationally in rebounds per game (13.5) ... Had a stellar freshman season at Northeastern Oklahoma, averaging 16.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists ... Joins the Bulls after being ranked the No. 1 shooting forward and No. 22 overall recruit in Dan Olson’s Collegiate Girls Basketball Report ... She transfers to USF from the same junior college as former USF great Inga Orekhova (2011-2014).

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE: Mununga competed for Belgium in the 2017 FIBA U20 Women’s European Championship, where she averaged 9.7 points and 9.9 rebounds per game ... Recorded two double-doubles in the event, netting 12 points and 10 rebounds against Sweden and a 19 point, 10 rebound effort against Latvia ... Fell one point why of a third double-double with nine points and 16 rebounds against Portugal in the Round of 16.

PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Hali-Ambroise Mununga ... Was born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo (formally Zaire) ... Moved to Zellik, Belgium when she was one year old and has lived there for 21 years ... Zellik is a suburb on the northwest edge of Brussels ... Has two brothers, Daniel-Augustin and Henri, and two sisters Patty and Anna-Grace ... Enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her spare time, along with listening to music and dancing.
