Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar...2021 American Athletic Conference Men's Golf Scholar Athlete of the Year...American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team...led the team in scoring average (70.52), rounds of par or better (20), top-25 finishes (7) and top-10 finishes (3)...became the fourth Bull in program history to win the individual championship at the AAC Championship with a 205 (-11)...entered the final day of the championship three shots off the lead and recorded a three-stroke victory...drained a 50-ft. birdie putt on 18 from off the green to seal the individual and team titles...season-best 54-hole score of 204 at the Florida Gators Invitational...in the starting lineup for all nine tournaments.
SPRING 2020:Â
Division I PING All-Southeast Region Team... Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar... AAC All-Academic Team... Member of USF Athletics Honor Roll... Finished the season ranking second on the team in season scoring average (71.58), rounds of par or better (12) and top-10 finishes (5). Tied for the team lead with seven top-25 performances in eight team events... Earned runner-up honors at the The Challenge at Concession with a 4-under 220 to help co-host USF post a 13-shot, wire-to-wire win... Started the spring with a tie for 24th place at the Florida Gators Invitational (Feb. 16) and tied for eighth at the Fort Lauderdale Intercollegiate (March 3)... Was in the lineup for all 24 of the team's rounds this season.
FALL 2019: Ranked second on the team with a 71.47 scoring average and seven rounds of par or better... Tied for the team lead with three top-10 finishes and four top-25 performances... Earned his second career victory by finishing with co-medalist honors at the Windon Memorial Classic, where he finished with a 6-under 207 on Sept. 17... Tied for second at the Quail Valley Intercollegiate (Oct. 21) with a 14-under 202 a day after setting USF’s low round vs. par record and matching the lowest round in school history with a 9-under 63... His other top-three finish was a third-place showing at the Marquette Intercollegiate (Oct. 8).
SUMMER 2019: Helped Sweden win theÂ
2019 European Amateur Team Championship. Bergstrom secured the victory over England in the championship match as Sweden captured its first European Amateur Team Championship title since 1961. The tournament was played on Bergstrom's hometown course at Ljunghusen Golf Club in Sweden.

American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team... Finished the season ranked No. 37 (third-highest ranked freshman in the nation)... Helped USF rank second nationally on Golfstat's Top Frosh list... Set new program season records for scoring average (70.0) and rounds of par or better (24)... Set USF's new 54-hole scoring record for a par-72 tournament with a 15-under 201 in his individual title victory at the Fort Lauderdale Intercollegiate (March 5). Also shot a career-best 66 in the second round of the event... Led the team with seven top-10 finishes after tying for 10th at the Stanford Regional... Also led the squad with nine top-25 performances out of 11 team events... Finished the season with 16 total rounds in the 60s and was one of four Bulls to compete in all 32 rounds... Posted a pair of runner-up finishes at the Florida Gators Invitational (Feb. 17) and the USF Invitational (March 12)... Had six top-five finishes throughout the season, including a tie for fifth place at The American Championship (April 23).
FALL 2018:Â Member of USF Athletics Fall Honor Roll... Led the team with a 70.7 scoring average and tied for the team lead with two top-10 finishes while competing in all four events (12 rounds)... Also tied for second on the team with three top-25 performances and his eight rounds of par or better ranked third on the squad... Tied for third in the 80-player Quail Valley Intercollegiate field at 9-under (68-68-71, 207) and finished four shots off the lead in the fall finale... Tied for fifth at The Intercollegiate at The Grove with a 6-under score (71-66-73, 210)... Carded a 69 and 70 (-3) in the first two rounds of the season before tying for 18th place at the Louisville Cardinal Challenge with a 1-under score (212).
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Sundsgymnasiet in Vellinge, Sweden... Member of Sweden's junior national team... Posted title victories at the 2016 Norwegian Winter Open, 2015 Elite, 2014 Tall Elite and 2013 Skandia Cup... Has registered at least 20 top-10 finishes dating back to 2015 in competition all over the world.
PERSONAL: Son of Anna and Peter Bergstrom... Has two brothers, Emil and Anton...For more than a decade, he played high-level handball along with golf in Sweden...his brother, Emil, a golf coach in Sweden...Grew up cross-country skiing and still takes skiing vacations with his family to places such as Austria, France and Italy.
