SPRING 2020: Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar... AAC All-Academic Team... Member of USF Athletics Honor Roll... Ranked fifth on the team in season scoring average (74.29) and tied for third in rounds of par or better (8)... Posted one top-10 finish and put together four top-25 performances... Best finish of the spring was a tie for 13th place at the Georgia Southern Individual Collegiate (Feb. 3)... Wrapped up the spring season with consecutive top-25 finishes, tying for 19th at the Fort Lauderdale Intercollegiate (March 3) and tying for 21st at The Challenge at Concession (March 10)... One of three Bulls to compete in 24 total rounds this season.
FALL 2019: Posted a 74.6 scoring average and four rounds of par or better through 12 rounds...Carded a career-best 68 in the second round of the Windon Memorial Classic (Sept. 16)... Tied for seventh with an even-par 216 in the fall opener at the Carpet Capital Collegiate (Sept. 8).
SPRING 2019: Member of American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team... Competed in three team events during the spring and six total tournaments throughout the season (16 rounds)... Helped USF's freshman class rank second nationally on Golfstat's Top Frosh list... Best finish was a tie for 22nd place at the Georgia Southern Individual Collegiate...Posted a 75.9 season scoring average and three rounds of par or better, including a 1-under 71 (career best) in the opening round of the Georgia Southern Individual Collegiate... Competed for the Bulls in the final round of The American Championship.
FALL 2018: Member of USF Athletics Fall 2018 Academic Honor Roll...
 Competed in two tournaments as an individual and posted a 75.5 scoring average with two rounds of par or better... Carded consecutive even-par 72s to begin his collegiate career and tied for 33rd place at the Windon Memorial Classic.
HIGH SCHOOL: At Saint Stephen's Episcopal School, posted a 72.4 scoring average in eight events during his senior year, including a second-place finish at the state tournament... As a junior, earned medalist honors at the AJGAÂ Amino Vital and AJGAÂ St. Francisville Bluffs events. Also earned high school team MVP honors as a junior while posting a 74.2 scoring average in his first prep season... Registered six top-10 finishes in seven junior events in 2017... Shined in the classroom with academic honors all four years, including spots on the Director's List his final three years... Member of the National Honors Society.
PERSONAL: Son of Marion and Mxolisi Mbetse... Has one younger sister, Miranda... Prior to his arrival at USF, logged in 127 honors of community service, including time spent working with underprivileged children in South Africa... Hobbies include reading and swimming... Majoring in business management... Lived in South Africa until age 13 before moving to the United States.
