Biography
2023-24: Named to 2024 CSC Academic All-District team and 2023-24 WGCA All-American Scholar...played in 11 events…finished the campaign with a 72.82 scoring average…shot a low-round 68 twice…shot six rounds in the 60s and 12 rounds of par or better…best 54-hole performance of the season was a 210 at the Westbrook Invitational…finished in the top-25 four times and in the top-10 twice…best finish of the year was a tie for 10th at the AAC Championship and the Dale McNamara Invitational.
2022-23 (VIRGINIA TECH): Competed in nine events with 26 rounds...named to the All-ACC Academic Team...tallied a 75.92 scoring average – fifth-best on the team...carded three rounds at par-or-better...fired a season-best 5-under 65 in the opening round of The Schooner Fall Classic; tied for 38th at 3-over 213 (65-75-73)...tied for 39th at the ACC Championship with an 11-over 227 (71-79-77).
2021-22 (VIRGINIA TECH): Named a WGCA All-American Scholar...recorded a 76.72 scoring average...recorded four par-or-better rounds...season-best finish came at the Wolverine Invitational where she tied for 33rd (9-over 222) and shot her season-low of 70 during the first round...subbed into the second round of the ACC Championship where she signed an even-par round of 72 and tallied a birdie on hole No. 3.
2020-21 (VIRGINIA TECH): Competed as an individual during the Fall portion of the season...finished second among women at the GCAA Pinehurst Amateur, tying for 25th overall...followed that finishing second to teammate Becca DiNunzio at the GCAA Kingsmill Amateur in Williamsburg, tying for 12th overall in the co-ed event...posted a 74.71 scoring average in the Spring, fifth-best on the team...carded six rounds of par-or-better...season-best finish came at the ACC Championship where she fired a 3-over 219 to tie for 16th...fired four rounds in the 60s, including a season-best 6-under 66 in the opening round of the Valspar Augusta Invitational...her 66 tied a school record for lowest round in relation to par (at the time), matching Elizabeth Bose's 66 in the first round of the Minnesota Invitational on Sept. 11, 2017...named to the All-ACC Academic Team.
2019-20 (VIRGINIA TECH): Named a WGCA All-American Scholar...named Rookie of the Year and first team all-state by VaSID...named a 2019 second-team Rolex Junior All-American by the American Junior Golf Association in October...second on the team in scoring average and Crunch Time scoring average...finished in the top 20 in five of the seven team events as a freshman...had her best finish of the season to open the Spring 2020 slate, finishing third at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic, carding all three rounds at par-or-better...earned her first career top 10 finish by placing 10th at the Princess Anne Invitational in Virginia Beach, Va., helping lead the Hokies to their first-ever team title.
AMATEUR:Â Claimed the 2021 Tennessee Women's Am with a 9-under 207...finished runner-up at the 2021 Tennessee Women's Open at 2-under 214...tied for sixth at the 2020 Georgia Women's Open (third-lowest among amateurs)...finished sixth in the 2020 South Carolina Women's Open, second among amateur golfers...won the 2019 NWGA Rocky Top Ladies Classic (one of seven amateurs in the event)...won the 2019 AJGA Scott Stallings Junior Championship.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Angie and Kenny...has an older brother, Evan...working on her master's in exercise science at USF...enjoys working out, cooking and hiking in her free time.
