Biography
As a Senior (2012-2013): Competed in six tournaments for the Bulls this season...Finished in a tie for 26th place at the BIG EAST Championships, which was her best finish of the year carding a 80-78-76--234...Posted a low round of 76 at the BIG EAST Championship and at the Edwin Watts/Palmetto Intercollegiate...Finished the year with an average of 81.4.
As a Junior(2011-2012): Competed in three tournaments for the Bulls during the 2011 Fall Season……..Her highest finish came at the Lady Paladin Invitational, placing in a tie for 37th carding a 77-83-84………..In 8 rounds during the fall season, she averaged an 80.1……….Posted a low round of 75 in the USF-Waterlefe Invite (Oct. 10-11).
As a sophomore (2010-11) – Competed in all 10 tournaments for the Bulls this season … Wrapped the season with a 79.1 stroke average ... Placed 16th at the BIG EAST Championships with a three-day total of 236 strokes ... Tied for 40th at the Sir Pizza Cards Challenge (Feb. 27-March 1) with a three-day total of 20-over 236 … Finished in a tie for 50th at the UCF Challenge (Feb. 13-15) with a 13-over 229, her lowest three-day score of the year … Tied for 37th at the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate (Oct. 11-12) with a 17-over 230 through three rounds … Posted her best finish of the season, a tie for 30th, at the USF-Waterlefe Invitational (Oct. 4-5), by posting a total score of 234 strokes.
As a freshman (2009-10)- Competed in a pair of tournaments for the Bulls in the spring, 6.0 rounds, and finished the 2009-10 season with an 81.11 scoring average… Finished 24th at the JMU Eagle Landing Invite, her best finish of the season… Low round of the season came in the second round of the Eagle Landing Invite where she shot a 2-over 74…Competed in one tournament on the season for the Bulls… Finished T67 at the USF Waterlefe Invitational with a three-round score of 244... Low round of the season was an 80 in the opening round of the Waterlefe Invite…
High School/Junior: Played high school golf at Southern Lee High School where she was coached by Mrs. Tammy Batten.
Personal: Full name is Karli Ann Heimbecker…….Born on August 9, 1991 in St. Louis, Missouri……..Daughter of Paul and Denise Heimbecker………has one brother David(30) who played golf at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington and one sister Dani(31) who played golf at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro………Currently majoring in International Studies and is seeking a Minor of Business.
