2023-24: Finished the season ranked 23rd in the country…named AAC Women’s Golf Player of the Year (first in USF History)…named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) 2023-24 Division I All-American second team (One of only 50 student-athletes in the country selected for this prestigious recognition)… Green is only the second USF Women's Golf team member to be named to an All-American team twice… earned a spot on the AAC All-Conference team (First Bull to earn the honor four times)…Green was selected to represent Team USA the 2024 Arnold Palmer Cup and competed in the 2024 Augusta National Women’s Amateur…Earned AAC Women’s Golfer of the Week honors three times…named AAC Women’s Golfer of the Month in September and October…named 2023-24 AAC Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year...In her win at the Mountain View Collegiate, Green bested the field that included five Clippd Top 100 ranked golfers, including the top-ranked golfer in the nation…with her win at the Mountain View Collegiate, Green became the sixth player in program history with two or more wins in a season and the first since Natalia Villavicencio in 2018-19…Green finished in the top 10 in nine of the 11 tournaments during the 2023-24 season and in the top four in eight events. She shot par or better in 32 of 33 rounds in 2023-24…..With Green leading the way, South Florida finished in the top four, with three wins, in nine of 11 events in the 2023-24 season, including a third-place finish in the American Athletic Conference Championship, which ties for the highest finish in the tournament in program history….At the Westbrook Invitational, Green tied her career-best and program-record 54-hole score of 205 (-11). Her stellar play helped pace the Bulls to a new program record for low round, shooting a 271 (-17) and a low 54-hole total 836 (-28), while matching the program record for a 36-hole score (565). USF’s previous 54-hole record was 852 set last season….In the final two tournaments of the Fall season, Melanie Green led USF to a second-place finish at the Dale McNamara Invitational and a third-place finish at the Hurricane Invitational…Individually in October, she posted two top-five finishes. She finished third in the Dale McNamara Invitational and second in the Hurricane Invitational. In the two tournaments, she was a combined 18 under par. All six of her tournament rounds were at par or better, including four under-par rounds….In September 2023, she led the University of South Florida to a win in the Badger Invitational and a fourth-place finish in the Glass City Invitational…Individually, she posted two top-five finishes in USF’s first two tournaments of the season. Green finished tied for second in the Glass City Invitational and tied for fourth in the Badger Invitational. Green is a combined eight-under-par in tournament play and has carded rounds of par or better in four of six competitive rounds.

2022-23: Played in 11 events...Helped lead the Bulls to an NCAA Regional appearance...made her second consecutive NCAA appearance after qualifying for the NCAA Regional as an individual in 2022...earned WGCA All-American Honorable Mention honors, becoming the sixth USF Women’s Golf team member to be named to an All-American team and the first since 1999...named to the American All-Conference team for the third consecutive season, only the fourth Bull with three all-conference honors ...finished the season ranked 12th in the country with a USF record scoring average of 71.03...was the 39th-ranked player in the country overall according to Golfstat...contributed to 16 team season records....led the Bulls with eight top-10 finishes and 10 top-25 finishes.

2021-22: Played in all 10 team events and qualified for the NCAA Tallahassee Regional...named to the American All-Conference Team for the second straight season...was the Bulls' top 2022 MG All-Conference graphic

finished in nine of the 10 team events...had her score counted in all 28 team rounds...set single-season program records for scoring average (71.97), total birdies (111) and rounds of par or better (19)...opened the season with a round of 65 (-7) at the USA Intercollegiate for a new school records vs. par...went on to set a program record with a 54-hole score of 205 at the event...placed in the top 25 at eight of her 11 total events and in the top 10 seven times...earned her first collegiate win at the Trinity Forest Invitational where she was one of just two players to shoot even par (216)...was named the AAC Women's Golfer of the Week following her win...led USF with a sixth-place finish (223) at the AAC Championship...tied for 27th at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional with a 225...qualified for the U.S. Women's Open as an amateur and competed at the event in June at Pine Needles...also qualified for the U.S. Women's Amateur at Chambers Bay in August.

SPRING 2021: Named to the Women's Golf American All-Conference Team and AAC All-Academic Teams...played in all five tournaments as a freshman and was the Bulls’ low scorer at three events…led the team in scoring average (74.80), rounds of par or better (5), rounds in the 60s (2) and top-10 finishes (2)…posted a scoring average vs. par of +2.80 which ranks 10th in program history…carded a season-low 69 twice in her first collegiate outing at the FAU Paradise Invitational…shot a season-best 211 to place second at FAU…her 36-hole total at FAU of 6-under-par 138 tied for third best all-time by a Bull, and her final 54-hole tally of 5-under-par 211 ranks seventh in program history…concluded the year by trying for fourth at the American Women’s Golf Championship with a 4-over-par 220. HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by PJ Bell at Medina High School in New York, where she earned five varsity letters… 2019 Rolex Junior All-American… No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2020 from New York when she signed with USF in November 2019… Two-time state champion (2018-19) who posted a nine-hole average of 37… At the time of her signing, was listed at No. 25 in the Golfweek Junior Rankings, No. 31 in the Rolex AJGA rankings and had posted three top-three AJGA performances, including a runner-up finish at the Billy Horschel Junior Championship… Qualified for the U.S. Women's Amateur and the U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball in 2019.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 19, 2001 in Medina, N.Y. … Daughter of Ron, a former college baseball outfielder, and Melissa Green… Has an older sister, Tiffany, and an older brother, Dillon… Plans to major in business finance… Also received scholarship offers from Delaware and Virginia Tech… Has regularly done community service work with the YMCA… Enjoys longboarding and recreational sports with friends and family.
