A linebacker transfer that joined USF in the summer of 2025…played in 26 games in three seasons at Kent State and tallied 87 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss.
 
2024 (KENT STATE): Started in seven of the eight games he played in…finished fourth on the team with 61 tackles (30 solo) and added 0.5 tackles for loss, three quarterback hurries and two pass breakups…had a season-high 14 tackles at Penn State (9/21)…posted 11 tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss vs. Saint Francis (9/7)…logged 10 tackles at Tennessee (9/14)…had 10 tackles against Bowling Green (10/19)…earned Academic All-MAC honors.
 
2023 (KENT STATE): Saw action in 12 games and logged 18 tackles on the year…had a season-high six tackles, a quarterback hurry and a pass breakup at Ball State (11/18)…posted a tackle in 10 games.
 
2022 (KENT STATE): Saw action in six games as a true-freshman…posted eight tackles and two tackles for loss on the year…made his debut in home opener against LIU, making two solo tackles including a tackle for loss…at Miami made two solo tackles including a tackle for loss…made his first collegiate start at Toledo and logged three total tackles.
 
PRIOR TO KENT STATE: Dubbed "Weapon X" Nicholl was all over the field in high school. Nicholl started at corner, safety, drop-down safety and linebacker while in high school. Helped the Saint Joseph Hawks to an 11-3 record and berth in the state title game as a senior. Named to the All-Catholic Team by the Philadelphia High School coaches.
