Chanelle Scheepers joined the USF coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach in March of 2015. Scheepers joins the staff after playing professional tennis for the past 15 years. She reached a career high WTA world ranking of 37 in single in October of 2011. In April of 2014, she reached a career-high WTA world ranking of 42 in doubles.  

Scheepers resume is full of professional highlights including being a women's doubles semi-finalist at Wimbledon in 2013. Other accomplishments include a WTA singles championship in 2011, a WTA doubles championship in 2013 and winning 12 ITF singles titles along with 20 ITF doubles titles. She was a member of the South African Fed Cup Team from 2002-2005 and also 2015.
