Alyssa Colon has been with USF Athletics since March 2021 starting as a federal work-study student worker for Human Resources. She was promoted to Front Desk Receptionist in May 2022 shortly after her graduation from USF with her B.A in Psychology and a minor in behavioral healthcare.
In her role, she oversees building operations to ensure smooth cohesive utilization of areas such as the Hall of Fame Room, athletics weight room access for employees, and mail receiving. She also plays a role in employee, intern, and volunteer relations and onboarding.

Previously in her undergrad, Alyssa worked with the Substance Misuse and Addictions Research Training (SMART) Lab with the Mental Health, Law, and Policy Department at USF. She frequently remains updated on psychological research and remains in and out of research. She both conducts and participates in research on USF’s campus and is currently pursuing her graduate degree at USF as part of the Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling (RMHC) program with a track in Marriage and Family Therapy.
