Ben Steib joined the South Florida football staff in January of 2026 as assistant director of equipment operations on Brian Hartline’s first Bulls staff.

Steib came to USF after five seasons with the New Orleans Saints serving first as an equipment intern and then assistant equipment manager, working alongside current USF assistant AD/football equipment Jeff Inderhees.

Steib worked as a student manager with Louisiana Tech football for four years (2017-21) before earning his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from La Tech in 2021.
