Craig Weaver

Craig Weaver serves as the Assistant Director of Athletic Administration at USF, a position he began in August 2024. In this role, he assists the Chief of Staff with capital planning and projects, conducts comprehensive research on issues at the school, conference, and national levels, participates in event planning for the Hall of Fame and Stampede for Women, and supports senior staff members with a variety of projects.

Weaver brings six years of experience from Virginia Tech, where he held multiple roles including Gameday Operations Intern for 1.5 years, Special Teams Student Coach for three years, and Athletic Administration Intern for 1.5 years. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2023 with a Master’s in Business Management and earned an MBA from USF in August 2024. Originally from Blacksburg, Virginia, Weaver currently resides in Tampa, Florida. He is the son of Jim Weaver, a longtime coach and athletic director with a 50-year career spanning Penn State, Florida, UNLV, and Virginia Tech.
