Daris Wienk, serves in the Athletic Medicine department as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the women’s lacrosse team, a role she began in July 2023. In her position, she provides injury evaluation, develops therapeutic intervention strategies, and collaborates on comprehensive sports medicine care while also assisting with managing the athletic medicine clinic’s inventory.

Wienk is a BOC Certified and Florida Licensed Athletic Trainer, as well as a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, and holds additional certifications in CPR/AED, HawkGrips Level 1, dry needling, corrective exercise, and performance enhancement. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Fort Lewis College in 2020 and completed her master’s in Athletic Training at the University of South Florida in 2023.

Originally from Naples, Florida, she grew up playing lacrosse and continued at the collegiate level,
