Gotsch joined head coach Brian Hartline's staff as special teams analyst in January of 2026.

He first came to South Florida in 2023, spending two seasons as a graduate assistant (2023-24) on head coach Alex Golesh's staff before being promoted to assistants special teams coach in 2025.

A native of Polk County, Florida, Gotsch brings a diverse background to the Bulls, combining his experience in football coaching with a strong foundation in operations management and leadership from his time in the U.S. Army (2020-2022). Gotsch managed and coordinated over 35 operations of 500+ individuals jumping out of aircrafts while with the U.S. Army.

Gotsch also coached Wide Receivers, JV, and Weightlifting at Lake Region High School (2022-23) while finishing his time in the Army and beginning as a graduate assistant for the Bulls.

Gotsch attended the American Military University, where he earned an associate of arts in general studies (2019-21).

Gotsch is also a husband and father.
