Gerald Jones joined the USF Athletics staff in May 2026 as Senior Vice President, Corporate Partnerships, Activation & Broadcasting. He leads the South Florida Athletics Partnerships Sales, Activation and Broadcasts teams.
Prior to arriving at USF, Jones served as Senior Vice President, Business Development at Aquimo (2024-26). Before that, he was Vice President, Partnerships at RevelXP (2021-24), Vice President, Business Development & Media at Minor League Baseball (2018-20), and Senior Director, National Sales at Feld Entertainment (2015-18).
Jones spent four years as General Manager of Pitt IMG Sports Marketing (2011-15) and three years as Manager, Business Development for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2008-11). He began his career in sports business with the Pittsburgh Pirates, serving as Manager, Client Services (2000-04) before being promoted to Corporate Partnerships Account Executive (2004-08).
Jones earned a Master of Science in Sport Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi in 1999 and a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from Armstrong State University in 1998, where he was a four-year letterwinner in baseball.
A native of Savannah, Ga., Jones and his wife, Meloney, have three children: Jaden, Reese and Alysa.
