Isabella Wild enters her 5th year working with the University of South Florida as the Assistant Director of Athletic Medicine – Clinical Manager. While serving in this role, Isabella is responsible for clinic management and oversight of daily operations including scheduling, check-in and rooming/vitals for primary care sports medicine, orthopedic, and chiropractic specialties for student-athletes and athletics staff. Additionally, she has been at the forefront of establishing insurance billing for the athletic training services provided by the USF Athletic Training staff. 

Before to transitioning to her current role, Isabella’s primary sport responsibility was the USF Men’s and Women’s Track and Field teams. She was the primary provider of post-operative care, rehabilitation, and return to sport progressions. Simultaneously, she held supervisory responsibility of the USF Cross Country Resident Athletic Trainer and served as a preceptor for the University of South Florida Athletic Training Program.

Isabella brings a wealth of experience of collegiate sport experience to USF. While at Saint Leo University, Isabella served as the primary Athletic Trainer for Women’s Volleyball, Women’s Beach Volleyball, Men’s and Women’s Swimming, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, and Women’s Lacrosse. This included being an essential part of the 2018 Sunshine State Conference Regular Season Champion SLU Men’s Tennis program. She spent two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Barry University where she was responsible for the Women’s Volleyball and Softball programs. She earned her Master of Science in Injury and Sports Biomechanics with a Specialization in Athletic Training in May, 2017.

While at Barry University, Isabella investigated the hydration status and fluid intake of collegiate indoor athletes which culminated in her research titled “Efficacy of an Educational Intervention on the Hydration of Indoor College Athletes” being published in the Journal of Athletic Training.

Isabella graduated from the University of South Florida with her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2015. She is a BOC Certified and Licensed Florida Athletic Trainer (ATC/LAT) and holds additional certifications in CPR/AED and Graston Technique M1. She is a member of the Southeast Athletic Trainer's Association and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).

Isabella currently resides in Wesley Chapel with her husband Johnny, her son Rhett and her dogs, Jax and Rylee. She is a charcuterie enthusiast and enjoys coffee and CrossFit.
