Jenna Learn, a University South Florida graduate, was named director of recruiting on Brian Hartline’s first South Florida staff in December of 2025, returning her to the USF program where she previously served in roles in recruiting and operations.
A rising star in the industry, Learn returned to Tampa after two years as director of recruiting for the UTSA football program (2024-25). In that role, Learn was responsible for developing and leading comprehensive recruiting efforts, coordinating with coaching staff and university personnel to execute a strategic recruitment plan and planning and executing all prospect visits to campus.
The first person to fill the newly created role on the UTSA football staff, Learn worked directly with head coach Jeff Traylor, general manager Mike Giglio and director of player personnel Parker Cundiff to help elevate the Roadrunners’ recruiting operation. She also collaborated with the Football Creative Department on photo shoots and social media content direction related to the program’s recruiting efforts.
Learn arrived at UTSA from Michigan State, where she was the Spartans’ director of on-campus recruiting from June 2023 to March 2024. During her time in East Lansing, she led and oversaw the on-campus recruiting efforts for the football program and planned and executed all prospect visits to campus, which included official visits, unofficial visits, junior days and game days.
Learn got her start in the industry in 2021 as the recruiting and event operations intern for South Florida football. She was promoted to operations and recruiting coordinator in 2022, serving in that role for nearly a year.
Learn earned her bachelor’s degree in integrated public relations and advertising from South Florida in 2022.
