USF Athletics

Jonathan Gibson joined USF Athletics in August 2021.  Previously, Jonathan spent 15 years in K-12 education as a teacher, coach, athletic director, assistant principal, principal, and assistant superintendent.  As a former college athlete, Jonathan has always had a passion for collegiate sports and aspired to work in collegiate athletics.  "I am extremely excited and grateful for this opportunity and look forward to serving the USF Athletics family." Jonathan comes to Tampa from the Athens, GA area with his wife Kelley and daughters Kayla and Kourtney.
